Day 1

COLOMBO

An English-speaking chauffeur guide will meet you outside customs with a sign bearing your name and accompany you to your accommodation for added comfort. A private vehicle and chauffeur guide will transport you from the airport to your hotel in Colombo.

Day 2

COLOMBO TO DAMBULLA

Experience a guided tour of Colombo, Sri Lanka's commercial capital, accompanied by a local guide. Learn about its history dating back to Portuguese, Dutch, and British colonization. Explore Fort, the central business district, witnessing the transformation of the city into a modern metropolis. DAMBULLA

DAMBULLA

Guided by a personal guide, you will explore this site, once owned by King Kashyapa, who aimed to construct an impenetrable fortress and a heavenly residence. As you approach this breathtaking natural wonder that towers over the Sri Lankan landscape, begin the ascent of 1200 steps, leading you to the summit. Along the way, marvel at the famous Sigiriya frescoes, which depict slender-waisted maidens carrying flowers. Don't miss the chance to observe ancient graffiti on the nearby Mirror Wall, some of which date back to the sixth century. When you reach the top of the fortress, take in the stunning panoramic view of lush green meadows and villages below. Explore the ruins of the once magnificent structures, savoring the opportunity to witness one of the world's best-preserved examples of ancient urban planning. Day 5

DAMBULLA TO KANDY

A transfer from Dambulla to Kandy will be provided by an English-speaking chauffeur guide in a private vehicle. The travel time is approximately three hours.

Names like Cinnamon, Cloves, Nutmeg, Cardamom, Pepper, and Turmeric not only bring to mind tasty food but also represent the age of discovery and the 500 tumultuous years in the history of Ceylon under the Portuguese, Dutch, and British rule. Today's journey to the local markets will offer an authentic Sri Lankan experience that is truly rewarding. It is famous for its bread and delectable curries, which pair perfectly with a strong cup of Ceylon tea. Before leaving the market, take some time to explore the wide variety of exotic fruits, including the wood apple with its unique fermented fragrance mixed with tamarind. You can also find jackfruit, rambutan, mangosteen, and many more, including fresh and impressive bananas. Your tour ends with a private transfer back to your accommodation.

Day 6

KANDY

Kandy's defiance under foreign rule led to its eventual fall to the British. Explore its rich culture and vibrant markets with a private chauffeur guide. See colonial remnants like the Queen's hotel and wander around the Kandy Lake. Visit the Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic, a holy Buddhist shrine. KANDY TO COLOMBO

During your transfer from Kandy to the International Airport in Colombo, you will have a private chauffeur guide. The transfer will take around 4 hours. On the way, you'll have the opportunity to visit a traditional Sri Lankan local home and taste the authentic flavors of the island through a home-cooked Sri Lankan meal. If you have any specific dietary requirements, please inform the cook, Surangi, who will prepare delicious curries using various ingredients like pineapple, vegetables, seafood, and meats. Once you finish your meal, you will be privately transported to the airport.
