Your private English-speaking assistant will meet you outside of airport customs. They will be holding a sign with your name on it. They will then guide you to your private transfer and go with you to the hotel for check-in.

This morning, I embarked on a tulip-filled excursion with a private guide and driver. Our first stop was the Aalsmeer Flower Auction, the largest of its kind in the world. The sheer size of the building is hard to comprehend, as it covers over 5.5 million square feet or 128 acres. As we arrived in Aalsmeer, a town on the Westeinderplassen lake, we were greeted by the hustle and bustle of the indoor auction floor. Traders were bidding against the clock, and it was incredible to witness the quantity of beautiful flowers being traded daily from more than ten countries.

Next, we headed to Lisse to explore the renowned Keukenhof, also known as the Garden of Europe. It is one of the largest flower gardens in the world, with over 7 million bulbs in bloom and 800 varieties of tulips. Walking through the park, we enjoyed the fresh air and marveled at the magnificent displays of tulips and other flowers in all colors of the rainbow. The flowers were planted according to an annual theme, adding an extra touch of beauty and creativity to the experience. It truly was a magnificent experience for anyone who loves flowers and gardens.

To conclude our excursion, we made our way back to Amsterdam with a return transfer.

Take a full day small group tour to Geithoorn, a charming village in the Netherlands. Your driver-guide will lead a group of up to 8 participants through 1.5 hours of flat Dutch polder land before reaching Geithoorn, also known as the Dutch Venice. Like Venice, this village has canals, and the only way to get around is by boat or on foot. Cars are not allowed in the old town, which has a rich history dating back to the middle ages. Explore the village, enjoy its unique and picturesque character, and savor a coffee and apple pie. Then, hop on a boat for a relaxing canal cruise to fully experience the ambiance of Geithoorn. In the afternoon, return to Amsterdam.

Embark on a guided bike ride in rural North Holland to Zaanse Schans. Along the River Zaan, admire the famous Dutch windmills. Get a bike and helmet, then follow your guide on a 5-mile route. Take your time, capturing beautiful photos of the countryside. Visit one of the historic mills to better understand their significance. After about 3 hours, return to Amsterdam with your driver.
