Embark on a captivating journey through Kutná Hora, a medieval town and UNESCO World Heritage Site. Your private guide will lead you through time, starting with the awe-inspiring Cathedral of St. Barbara. Admire its remarkable Gothic architecture and priceless murals. Delve into the intriguing Czech Museum of Silver, where you'll learn about the intricate process of silver mining and coin minting, from the mine to the final product. Immerse yourself in the city's mining heritage through the historical exhibits. Conclude your tour with a visit to the eerie yet fascinating Ossuary, also known as the Bone Church, where the remains of up to 40,000 people have been artfully arranged. Today's tour includes entrance fees to the Cathedral of St. Barbara, the Czech Museum of Silver - Silver Path 2, and the Ossuary. Day 4

Day 5

LINZ TO DANUBE RIVER CRUISE

Upon your arrival in Linz, Austria, you will be provided with two options for a shared excursion. The first option is to visit the St. Florian Monastery, which is an awe-inspiring display of Baroque architecture and is considered one of Austria's most remarkable examples. The second option is to participate in a guided tour of the Mauthausen Concentration Camp, where you will gain a somber understanding of the horrific history of Nazi forced labor camps that were established throughout Europe before and during World War II. In addition to these choices, if you are in the mood for a more active experience, you can also choose to explore the area by bike alongside your Adventure Host.

Day 6

YBBS TO DANUBE RIVER CRUISE

During your port call in Ybbs, you have the option to either take a shared tour of the town or join your Adventure Host for a bike ride. Following this, you will experience some picturesque cruising through the Wachau Valley as you continue on to Krems, where your ship will make its next port call. In Krems, you will have the choice to go biking, participate in a guided tour of the city, or indulge in a shared Wine World experience complete with wine tasting.

Day 7

VIENNA TO DANUBE RIVER CRUISE

During your port call in Vienna, you can either join the Adventure Host for a bike ride or take a shared city tour. Vienna is known as one of Europe's most beautiful cities and is filled with visual and cultural wonders.

Day 8

BRATISLAVA TO DANUBE RIVER CRUISE

During your port call in Bratislava, you can opt for different activities. These include taking a sightseeing excursion of the capital, exploring the 15th century St. Martin's Cathedral, or going on a hike to the famous Bratislava Castle. Your Adventure Host will be there to accompany you.

Day 9

BUDAPEST

This morning, bid farewell to the crew as your cruise voyage ends and you disembark from the ship.

In Budapest's Castle District, overlooking the Danube river, you will find two iconic historic buildings: Matthias Church and Fisherman's Bastion. With a private guide, spend half a day exploring the stunning architecture and mesmerizing views of the city. Matthias Church, also known as the Church of Our Lady of Buda, was originally built in 1015 and later transformed into a Gothic style structure in the 14th century. During the Turkish occupation, it served as the city's main mosque. Named after King Matthias Corvinus, the church was restored with Baroque influence after the Turkish rule. Next to the church is Fisherman's Bastion, constructed between 1895 and 1902. The bastion's seven towers represent the seven Magyar tribes that settled in the Carpathian Basin in 895. Its neo-Gothic and neo-Romanesque design features impressive towers, colonnades, and embrasures. From the towers, you can enjoy panoramic views of the city and the Danube, making it a popular spot for taking photos.

Upon arrival, you will receive a Welcome Package containing any necessary documents or tickets for your trip.

From your hotel, you will be picked up and taken to a traditional Hungarian restaurant for a delightful dinner accompanied by a traditional folklore show and Romani music. After dinner, enjoy a brief tour of Budapest by night, where you can admire the city's illuminated sights.

Experience the charm of Szentendre, a quaint art village near Budapest. Explore the beautiful Baroque buildings and meander through the cobblestone streets and alleys. Immerse yourself in the enchanting atmosphere of the numerous cafes, galleries, restaurants, wine cellars, and pedestrian lanes. During your visit, don't miss the opportunity to admire the exceptional works of Margit Kovacs, a renowned Hungarian ceramic artist, at the Kovacs Margit Ceramic Museum. Her creations often feature religious themes and characters from folklore, as well as decorative jugs. After your half-day excursion, return to Budapest with a convenient transfer.
