Upon arrival at the airport, you will be greeted by a Meet & Greet assistant who will guide you to your private driver. They will be holding a sign with your name on it. The assistant will accompany you to your accommodation.

Included in your Welcome Package are all the necessary documents and tickets for your trip.

Embark on a half-day trip to the Palace of Versailles, a UNESCO World Heritage site. Travel in a private car with an English-speaking guide and discover the grandeur of this magnificent Baroque palace. Originally used as a hunting lodge by Louis XIV, it later transformed into a masterpiece of French classical architecture. Upon arrival, you will be greeted by your personal chauffeur who will transport you to the pier in Paris. Once on board, take a moment to familiarize yourself with your stateroom and the entire cruise ship. In the evening, join the other passengers for a Welcome Reception, marking the start of your exciting river cruise journey.

LES ANDELYS TO FRANCE RIVER CRUISE

After breakfast, you will arrive at Les Andelys, a small town in Normandy. Here, you will embark on a guided tour of Chateau Gaillard, one of the most breathtaking sights in the entire valley. This remarkable castle, constructed in the 12th century, was strategically placed at the top of a river bend to protect and safeguard Rouen from the French. Throughout the turbulent history of northern France, Chateau Gaillard endured numerous sieges, resulting in its current status as one of the most captivating ruins in the region.

ROUEN TO FRANCE RIVER CRUISE

In the morning, take a shared city tour of Rouen, the capital of Normandy. Explore the famous Gothic Cathedral, which inspired Claude Monet's series of 28 paintings. The cathedral also houses a reclining statue believed to hold Richard the Lionheart's heart. Another significant site is the Place du Vieux-Marche, where Joan of Arc was burned at the stake.
