Upon reaching Antananarivo, your driver-guide or guide will meet you at the arrival hall with a sign displaying your name. They will be waiting for you after you complete the visa on arrival procedures, passport control, and collect your baggage.

Once you meet your guide, they will provide you with a welcome package that includes maps and other information, and then transfer you to your hotel.

It is important to note that a visa is required for entry into Madagascar. This can be obtained upon arrival. For stays of up to 15 days, there is a $10.00 USD fee per person. For stays of up to 30 days, the visa fee is $36.00 USD per person and must be paid in cash.

From Toliara, you can catch a flight to Antananarivo which will take approximately one hour and 5 minutes. There is a luggage restriction for this flight: checked luggage should not exceed 20kg (44lb) and the bag must not exceed 158cm (62 inches) in total. You are allowed one carry-on piece weighing a maximum of 6kg (13lb) and it must not exceed 115cm (45 inches).
