Day 1

CATANIA TO TAORMINA

Upon arrival at the airport, you will be met by your personal English-speaking assistant in the baggage claim area. They will be holding a sign with your name on it. They will then escort you to your private vehicle and transport you to your hotel in Taormina. The travel time is approximately 1 hour.

On your first day in Taormina, you will receive a welcome package that includes a city map, train tickets (if applicable), and other useful tourist information.

Day 2

TAORMINA

Embark on a full day tour to explore historic Messina and the ancient site of Tindari in Sicily. Messina has a rich settlement history dating back to the 8th century BC and is filled with traces of the past. Admire the Church of San Francesco and the Fountain of Neptune, which symbolize resilience in the face of adversity. Explore the National Museum, which houses a collection of portraits and sculptures, including works by famous painter Caravaggio. Visit Messina's City Hall, the Church of the Annunziata dei Catalani, and stroll through Piazza del Duomo, where you'll find the city's main cathedral with the world's largest astronomical clock. In the afternoon, head to the archaeological site of Tindari, a Greek colony founded in 396 BC. The site is perched on a cliff overlooking the Tyrrhenian Sea and features ancient archways, Roman ruins, and an amphitheater. End the day by returning to your hotel.

TAORMINA

Experience a breathtaking flightseeing tour over Mt. Etna with a private helicopter. Start by meeting your personal driver who will take you to the nearby helipad. There, you will meet your pilot and board a private 5-seater chopper. For 30 minutes, you will be treated to stunning aerial views of Sicily's famous volcano and the beautiful coastline. Marvel at exclusive vantage points and the natural beauty of Etna and Sicily from above. Once the flight is over, your driver will transfer you back to your hotel.

Day 4

TAORMINA TO MILAZZO TO SALINA

Your private driver and vehicle will meet you for a 1.5-hour transfer to the port of Milazzo. Take a ferry from Milazzo to Salina, which also takes approximately 1.5 hours.

Today, relax at Capofaro, a property perfect for rejuvenation. Take advantage of the fresh water pool amidst Malvasia vineyards, pamper yourself at the garden spa, and if you're feeling active, try paddle tennis, yoga, or pilates.

Day 5

SALINA

Start your day with a transfer to the port where you'll meet your driver and embark on a private yacht for a day of exploring the island of Salina. Accompanied by a knowledgeable skipper, you'll have the chance to swim in the clear waters and visit various points of interest, including the famous Pollara Bay. Take a break in the village of Lingua to explore and grab a bite before returning to the yacht. Enjoy soft drinks and beer on board while taking in the beautiful Mediterranean scenery. End your day with a private transfer back to your hotel.

SALINA TO MILAZZO TO PALERMO

Take a hydrofoil from Salina to Milazzo for a 1.5-hour journey. Then, meet your private driver and transfer to Palermo. Along the way, visit the charming town of Cefalu for 3 hours. Don't miss the stunning 12th century Cathedral of Cefalu and the Rocca di Cefalu. After exploring, continue to Palermo with your driver.

PALERMO

Embark on a captivating walking tour in Palermo that combines culinary traditions and artistic sights. Start the tour at your hotel, accompanied by a local guide, and prepare for a half-day filled with gastronomic delights. Begin by exploring the vibrant Capo Market, one of the city's historic markets, where you'll have the opportunity to sample various street foods such as arancini, crocche', sfincione, panelle, and caponata. Continue your journey through the old Arab Souk and admire the stunning Concezione Church, a baroque gem located at the heart of the market. Take a break at the Cathedral site to enjoy a delicious coffee and treat yourself to some of Palermo's finest traditional cakes, including cassata, gelo di mellone, and cannoli. Afterwards, wander along Cassaro street, the oldest street in Palermo, before reaching your final destination at Martorana Square. Here, you'll learn about the fascinating story behind the delectable Martorana fruits, all while surrounded by magnificent golden mosaics. Finally, conclude this enchanting experience with a guided return to your hotel.

Day 8

PALERMO TO SCIACCA

For a two-hour transfer to Sciacca, you will be provided with a private driver and vehicle.

Embark on a half-day tour of Sicily's southwestern coastline with a private guide and driver. Visit Eraclea Minoa, an ancient Greek village built on the ruins of the oldest village of Minoa in the 6th century BC. Explore significant findings from different periods of colonization, including a Paleochristian church, a Greek theater from the 4th century BC, and remnants of the ancient Greek settlement. Continue along the coast to Scala dei Turchi (Stair of the Turks), a stunning white cliff composed of soft limestone and white marl. This natural wonder, eroded over millennia, resembles a staircase descending to the Mediterranean sea. Take in the beauty of this site before heading towards Porto Empedocle, a coastal town known for its picturesque combination of medieval buildings and an endless skyline. The tour concludes upon arrival back at your hotel. Please note that the Scala Dei Turchi is currently closed with no set reopening date. If it reopens during your travel, admission fees will be payable on-site.

Day 9

SCIACCA

This morning, take your time to explore or relax at your hotel.

In the evening, go to the Valley of the Temples with your driver and guide. Located on a ridge outside of Agrigento, this UNESCO World Heritage Site is the largest archaeological site in the world. It is a popular tourist attraction with temples dating back to the 5th century BC. The main temples you will see are the Temple of Juno, the well-preserved Temple of Concordia, the Temple of Zeus, and the Temple of the Dioscuri. These ancient structures create a stunning backdrop for the sunset. Afterward, visit the nearby Kolymbetra Garden, a former lake that is now a beautiful garden filled with citrus trees, pomegranates, and wild olives. Conclude the day with a transfer back to your hotel.

Day 10

SCIACCA TO SYRACUSE

Your private driver and vehicle will take you to Syracuse, with an estimated travel time of 4 hours.

Discover the ancient wonders of Syracuse and Ortigia Island with your private guide. Begin your walking tour at Syracuse's archaeological site, where you'll witness the impressive Greek theater that is over 2,500 years old and can accommodate up to 15,000 spectators. Nearby, explore the renowned "Ear of Dionysius", a cave carved into the rock face that was reportedly used as a prison by Dionysius the Tyrant for his enemies.

On Ortigia Island, delve into 2,500 years of history, including Greek, Roman, and Norman influences. Marvel at the understated Baroque architecture and visit the UNESCO-listed Cathedral of Syracuse, built on the remains of the ancient Doric Temple of Athena from the 5th century BC. Day 11

SYRACUSE

Spend a whole day at sea on a private zodiac boat, cruising between Marzamemi, Vendicari, and Portopalo. Begin by driving to Marzamemi, where you'll meet your Guide-Skipper and board the boat. Take in the stunning views of the seabed and stop at observation points along the way, including the Vendicari Nature Reserve. Don't forget your bathing suits, as there will be an opportunity to swim in the Mediterranean. If you're interested, your Skipper can recommend seafood restaurants in Marzamemi for a meal break. Finally, return to your hotel with a transfer.

SYRACUSE TO CATANIA

You will be greeted by your personal driver and vehicle who will transport you to Catania Airport. The journey typically takes around 45 minutes.
