You will be picked up from your hotel in the morning and taken to Klein Bay, near Hermanus and Gansbaai. From there, you will board the Predator II boat and travel five miles to Dyer Island, where you can see 40,000 Cape fur seals, which are the great white shark's preferred prey. The channel between Dyer Island and Geyser Rock is called Shark Alley, where the boat anchors. Using special bait, you can observe the sharks feeding near the surface of the water. A protective cage will be lowered, allowing you to witness these amazing creatures up close while wearing a wet-suit and being protected by steel mesh. All diving equipment will be provided, and snorkeling experience is all that is required to enter the cage. The boat serves a light lunch and refreshments.
