Upon arriving in Bordeaux, you will be greeted by an English-speaking Meet & Greet Assistant who will accompany you to your private driver. They will travel with you to your accommodations to assist with check-in and answer any questions about your itinerary or the destination. A Welcome Package will be given to you, containing all necessary documents or tickets for your trip.

Day 2

BORDEAUX

Begin your full day excursion in the Medoc wine region by meeting your private driver-guide at your hotel. Within just a short half hour drive from Bordeaux, you'll find yourself surrounded by the vineyards and wineries of the Medoc. This area, previously a swamp, was transformed into a wine production hub by Dutch traders in the 17th century and is now celebrated for producing some of the world's most renowned wines.

Throughout the day, you'll have the opportunity to visit three carefully selected Classified Growth and/or Cru Bourgeois estates. These estates have been chosen for their exceptional setting and high-quality wines. During your visits, you'll gain insight into the estates' histories, the wine making process, and the unique techniques employed in their wine production. Each visit will be followed by a wine tasting session, allowing you to refine your palate and learn to identify wines by their appellation, such as Margaux, Pauillac, St Estèphe, St Julien, or Haut Médoc.

As you travel along the Castle Road, you'll have the chance to admire renowned chateaus like Chateau Margaux and Chateau Pichon Longueville.

Day 3

BORDEAUX

Begin your full day tour of Saint-Emilion, a UNESCO World Heritage-listed town and renowned appellation in Bordeaux. This principal red wine area is home to famous wines such as Beauséjour Bécot, Villemaurine, and Franc-Mayne. Saint-Emilion's wine history dates back 1700 years to the Romans who planted vineyards here in the 2nd century AD. In the morning, explore the medieval town on a walking tour, witnessing its 8th century church and underground monuments. In the afternoon, visit three Classified Growth chateaux, where you'll taste and learn about the unique characteristics of the appellation's different wines. Return to Bordeaux at the end of the day.

Get a private driver for a transfer between the train station and your accommodations. Depart from Bordeaux to Paris by train, with a travel time of 2 to 4 hours. Meet your driver for a train station transfer.

Begin your day by exploring the rich history of Chateau Gaillard, a fortress once occupied by Richard the Lionheart. Perched atop the cliffs overlooking the Seine, this majestic site is sure to captivate you. If you prefer a more active experience, embark on a hike from the riverbanks to the chateau, and delight in the stunning views that surround you. Cyclists in the group can opt for a guided bike tour, allowing them to discover the charming town of Les Andelys. Conclude your day of adventure by embarking on a scenic cruise along the meandering Seine.

Day 6

LE HAVRE TO FRANCE RIVER CRUISE

When you arrive in Le Havre, you'll have various options for excursions in the morning and afternoon based on your interests. In the morning, you can choose to visit Honfleur, a seaside town with a picturesque harbor that has inspired Impressionist painters. Alternatively, you can take a country drive through Beaumont-en-Auge and Pont l'Eveque, where you'll have the opportunity to taste delicious cheese and Calvados. In the afternoon, there are two options: a walking or biking city tour of the UNESCO-designated Le Havre, or a full-day excursion that includes Honfleur and the beautiful Pays d'Auge region of Normandy, known for its apple cider, Calvados, and pommeau, which are highly regarded even more than French wine.

Day 7

LE HAVRE TO FRANCE RIVER CRUISE

Choose from three different tours to explore the Normandy region. The first tour focuses on the American sector of the historic Normandy Beaches, including the Colleville-sur-Mer cemetery, Omaha Beach, Longues-sur-Mer artillery battery, and the village of Arromanches with its remaining WWII floating harbor. The second tour offers a British and Canadian perspective, with visits to Ranville Cemetery, Pegasus Bridge, Beny-sur-Mer Canadian cemetery, Coureulle WWII museum, and Arromanches. For a different experience, take the Romanesque Normandy Abbey Route to see the stunning Caudebec-en-Caux abbey. Alternatively, journey through time at the Seine Museum's interactive exhibits and vessels.

Day 8

ROUEN TO FRANCE RIVER CRUISE

In the morning, explore the charming medieval city of Rouen. Take a walking tour to visit important sites like the square where Joan of Arc was martyred, the Medieval Quarter, and the Great Clock. Afterward, choose between visiting Lyons-la-Foret, known for its centuries-old architecture built on the site of a former fortress, joining a _Tastes of Normandy_ tour to savor the region's delectable flavors, or embarking on a guided bike tour.

Day 9

VERNON TO FRANCE RIVER CRUISE

Optionally, you can choose from three excursions in Vernon after continuing your scenic adventure on the cruise. Art enthusiasts can visit Claude Monet's home and gardens in Giverny, where they can marvel at the scenery that inspired his famous paintings, including water lilies, Japanese bridges, and elegant willow trees. Alternatively, you can explore the majestic 18th-century Chateau de Bizy, which draws inspiration from the grandeur of Versailles. Here, you can opt for a guided tour of the palace and gardens or join a guided bike tour of the picturesque French countryside. Please note that if Monet's Gardens are closed, an alternative excursion will be provided.

Day 10

PARIS TO FRANCE RIVER CRUISE

During your panoramic tour, you can experience some of Paris' most famous sights. You will be taken to the charming Latin Quarter, which is home to the renowned Sorbonne University. You will also visit the beautiful Luxembourg Gardens, which were created by Marie de' Medici, the widow of King Henry IV, over 400 years ago. In the afternoon, you will travel to Auberge Ravoux in Auvers-sur-Oise, where Vincent van Gogh spent his last days. Exploring the former Ravoux Inn will give you a sense of his presence, as you learn about his incredibly productive 70 days in Auvers-sur-Oise, during which he painted over 70 works before his death. Additionally, you can admire the stunning architecture of Chateau Saint-Germaine-en-Laye and its museum and gardens. Alternatively, you can choose to stay in Paris and explore more of the City of Lights at your own leisure.

Afterwards, indulge in a delightful gourmet evening at Madame Brasserie, located on the first floor of the Eiffel Tower. Savor a 3-course dinner menu, accompanied by select wine, a glass of champagne, mineral water, and coffee. Enjoy privileged seating and admire breathtaking views of Paris.
