Day 1

LONDON TO BATH

Upon passing through customs, you will be greeted by a Meet & Greet assistant in the Arrivals Hall of the airport. This assistant will guide you to your transfer, help with the hotel check-in, and go over your travel documents for you.

In order to transfer to Bath, you will meet your own personal driver and vehicle. The estimated travel time for this journey is around 2.5 hours.

To ensure a smooth trip, a Welcome Package will be given to you. This package will contain any necessary documents or tickets needed for your travel.

Day 2

Join your personal guide for a half-day walking tour of Bath, where you'll discover its Georgian architecture, modern culture, and Roman heritage. Begin by admiring the impressive Bath Abbey, a Gothic church with a rich history dating back to the 7th century. Then, explore the underground Roman Baths complex and visit the street-level pump room. Be awestruck by the 18th century Royal Crescent, a Georgian masterpiece designed by John Wood, the Younger. Finally, marvel at the early Georgian townhouses of The Circus, designed by John Wood, the Elder. Uncover the extravagance and opulence of Bath on this picturesque walking tour.

Included in your tour is admission to the Roman Baths and Temple complex, where you can explore four main features. Explore the ancient remains of the Temple of Aquae Sulis, the Roman bath house, the Sacred Spring (the only hot spring in Britain), and a museum displaying artifacts found on site. The Roman Baths are located underground, and the city of Bath is teeming with various Roman ruins. Fun fact: In 2012, a hoard of 30,000 silver Roman coins dating back to 300 BC was discovered near the complex during an archaeological dig.

Experience a scenic journey through the countryside with your driver to reach the famous Stonehenge. This historic monument has intrigued people for centuries, including during the Norman Conquest. Explore the mysteries and history of this ancient site for about an hour before heading back to your hotel through beautiful landscapes. Entrance fees for Stonehenge are already included in your experience.

BATH TO COTSWOLDS

Today, you will leave Bath with a private driver-guide to tour the Cotswolds on your way to your accommodation in Minster Lovell. The Cotswolds is a beautiful area known for its charming medieval towns and villages with thatched roofs and yellow limestone. You can go on short hikes across the rolling hills or along the 102-mile Cotswold Way trail, or explore the villages. Don't forget to try the traditional pubs and authentic Cotswold tea shops (not included). The larger market towns and villages like Stow-on-the-Wold, Cirencester, Chipping Norton, and Tetbury are famous for their shops. If you're lucky, you may stumble upon hidden gems like Painswick, Biddestone, Winchcombe, or Woodstock, or discover the historic church at Northleach, often referred to as the "Cathedral of the Cotswolds." Open the church door, and you'll uncover a hidden world of history.

COTSWOLDS

Join a captivating full-day tour with your private driver-guide to explore the Cotswolds region and trace the footsteps of William Shakespeare. Start by driving for just over an hour to reach Stratford-upon-Avon, the birthplace of Shakespeare. Explore his actual house and visit Hall's Croft, the residence of his daughter and her husband. Continue to Anne Hathaway's cottage, his wife's family home. Pass by St. James' "wool church" and the Alms houses on the way to Broadway. Take a leisurely drive through Broadway for shopping or window browsing. Walk through the unspoiled village of Snowshill. Stop at Upper and Lower Slaughter and Bourton-on-the-Water for photographs. Your driver-guide will then take you back to your hotel. Note that admission fees are not included and must be paid on-site.
