Welcome to Chile! As you arrive in Santiago, a local representative will be there to meet you as soon as you step off the plane. They will provide fast-track service at Customs, assist with collecting your luggage, and take you to your waiting vehicle.

For your convenience, there will be an English-speaking guide waiting for you outside of Customs. They will be holding a sign with your name on it and will lead you to your vehicle and driver. The guide will also accompany you to your hotel to help you with the check-in process.

If you have an early flight and arrive in Santiago ahead of schedule, we will make arrangements for you to check in to your hotel early.

The Elqui Valley is a remote location with high elevation and a predictable dry climate, making it an excellent destination for stargazing. The Elqui Domos hotel is perfectly situated in the heart of this beautiful part of South America, offering guests activities centered around the celestial wonders that can be seen from the property at night. To prepare you for these experiences, today's tour includes a talk on the basics of astronomy and an introduction to the specialized software used in astronomical research. The highlight of the evening will be a guided observation of the star-filled skies over Elqui Valley using the hotel's state-of-the-art electronic telescope. Get ready to explore the universe like never before!

Start your day by exploring at your own pace or relaxing at your hotel. In Chile's Elqui Valley, you can enjoy incredible stargazing opportunities. In the town of Diaguitas, your private guide will share information about the local cultures and their unique view of the cosmos. You'll have the chance to observe the stars through a telescope and also do some naked eye observations. Yoga mats, pillows, and blankets will be provided for your comfort. Today, you will be driven to Calama airport by private vehicle and accompanied by a guide. From there, catch a direct flight to Santiago, which generally takes around two hours. It is important to mention that flight costs are not covered in the package and need to be arranged separately.
