You will be greeted by a personal driver and car for your airport to hotel transfer. On your first day, you will receive a welcome package containing a city map, train tickets (if necessary), and other helpful tourist information. Additionally, an English-speaking assistant will meet you at your hotel to go over the welcome package documents, itinerary, and address any concerns.

Your private driver and vehicle will be waiting for you at the train station to transfer you.

Today, take the train from Oslo to Flam with a connection in Myrdal. The Bergen Railway is known for its extreme weather conditions, but is also considered one of the safest and most comfortable ways to travel between Oslo and Bergen. Before reaching Bergen, you will get off at Myrdal and continue your journey to Flam on the Flam Railway. This scenic route offers breathtaking views of Norway's majestic landscape, including deep ravines, cascading waterfalls, and mountain farms perched on steep slopes. The Flam Railway also includes spirals, allowing the train to gain elevation quickly.

Upon arrival in Flam, your private taxi will be waiting to take you to Aurland, which is approximately a 15-minute drive.

In Aurland, you will be welcomed with a drink and a late lunch at the Smokehouse. Afterward, you will go on a guided walking tour to explore the Aurland 29/2 farm and learn about the local history and nature. This easy hike will also give your hiking guide a chance to assess your abilities before tomorrow's hike, which will be more challenging.

Start your day with a delicious breakfast and meet your personal driver-guide. Prepare for a half-day hiking adventure that will take you either to the charming Turlidfossen waterfall and its companion viewpoint, Stegastein, or to one of the mountain's summer barns. Immerse yourself in the tranquility of the Norwegian wilderness as you explore these picturesque locations. Your knowledgeable hiking guide will assess your fitness level and suggest the best option for you. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to visit an organic bakery during your excursion, where you can enjoy some fresh fruit, baked goods, and coffee/tea.

Take a private taxi from Flam to the port, which will take approximately 15 minutes.

Experience an eco-friendly hybrid boat transfer from Flam to Gudvangen, a 1.5 hour journey that offers breathtaking views of mountains, waterfalls, and homesteads along the way. The Naeroyfjord, a UNESCO World Heritage site and ranked as the top natural heritage site by the National Geographic Society, will make up half of your voyage.

Upon arrival in Gudvangen, meet your private driver and vehicle for a 2 hour and 15 minute transfer to Bergen.

Upon arrival at the airport, your private driver will be waiting for you. You will then board a scheduled flight to Longyearbyen with a connection in Oslo. The flight duration is approximately 6 hours.

Once you have collected your luggage, your private guide will be waiting for you in the arrivals section of the airport. They will be holding a sign with your name on it.

You will depart the airport with your private driver and vehicle. Your guide will take you to see the Svalbard Global Seed Vault, a place of global importance. Here, seeds of all the different plants on earth are collected and archived in an effort to preserve all existing flora in case of a global disaster. You will then continue on a scenic panorama tour of the village of Longyearbyen, with a stop for a local lunch. If there is time, you can also take a walk in the village before concluding with a transfer to the port.

With your guide, you will board a special Arctic-built safari boat for a private transfer to the Isfjord Radio Hotel at Kapp Linne. Throughout the journey, there will be stops for you to take photos and learn more about the arctic wildlife, geology, and history of Spitsbergen. You will pass cliffs filled with seabirds and may even see puffins bobbing on the waves. Whales and walruses, which were heavily hunted in the past, are now returning to the arctic fjords. So, make sure to keep your eyes open!

In the afternoon, you will explore the area surrounding the Isfjord Radio Station with your private guide. They will provide you with more information about the wildlife that inhabits the Kapp Linne area, including arctic foxes and Svalbard Reindeer. Afterward, you will enjoy a delightful 3-course dinner at the hotel in the evening.

Start your day by boarding a safari boat after breakfast. Accompanied by a private guide, embark on an exhilarating full day adventure to the west side of the fjord. The initial route will take you east along the coastline, eventually crossing Isfjorden at Kapp Starostin. Once on the other side, you will head directly towards the magnificent bird cliffs of Alkehornet, which serve as the nesting grounds for thousands of birds. A visit to Trygghamna will follow, where you can disembark and enjoy a delicious expedition lunch on the beach. Take some time to explore the area before continuing your journey to the spectacular Esmark Glacier in Ymerbukta. If you're fortunate, you might catch sight of whales, seals, or even the majestic polar bear, known as the "king of the Arctic." Finally, conclude your day with a return to the hotel.

Depart from the Isfjord Radio Hotel, leaving by boat with a private guide to Grønfjorden and the Russian settlement of Barentsburg. Barentsburg, a mining city with approximately 350 residents, will be visited for a town tour before enjoying a light lunch in the local brewery. After lunch, return to the boat and begin the journey towards Longyearbyen, with several intriguing stops planned. Arrive in Longyearbyen in the afternoon to check-in at the hotel.

Embark on a journey to the Longyearbyen Coal Mines with a private guide and driver. The drive provides a glimpse into the history of Longyearbyen, from its early days in the 1900s to the late 1960s when Gruve 3 (mine #3) was opened. At Gruve 3, dress in miners' clothing, wear a helmet, and stamp yourself in, just as the miners did. Explore the mine with your headlamp, discovering forgotten memories and experiencing the living monument of the town's mining history. Witness standing equipment, ready coal wagons, leaned drills and shovels, and the dusty workstation of the smith. Through vivid stories, learn about the everyday life of the miners and feel the whispers of the past within the walls.

In the evening, savor a Nordic Tasting Menu dinner at Huset, a restaurant that combines Scandinavian flavors and local ingredients. The restaurant boasts an impressive wine cellar, one of the largest in Scandinavia, with over 20,000 bottles. With the Arctic nature just outside, this dining experience at Huset is truly exceptional.
